A Split Second of Energy

Tonight I was driving home from FHE and I saw a beautiful lightening storm in front of me. The brilliant strikes of light lit up the sky. I was so amazing. I finally had to stop and try and take some pictures. I pulled into a random parking lot and got out of my car and sat on my car. Luckily I keep my camera with me at all times. I think I sat there for an hour and took over five hundred pictures. Most of them turned out black, but this one picture turned out perfect! I got a few other good ones, but this one tells the whole story. ...The palm tree says I am in Florida, a tropical place. The lamp post you can barely see at the base of the palm tree says it is night, but it is not totally distracting from the picture. The big black cloud on the left of the picture tells how dark the night really was. The bright right side of the picture says how the lightening lit up the sky. And last, but defiantly not the least, the little line of light that is a bolt of lightening shows how a split second of energy can be captured and shared by many. I hope you love this picture just as much as I do!
