Muggles Are Welcome

I broke down and bought a season pass to Universal Studios, but it meant that I got to visit the land of Harry Potter! It is truly amazing! I really felt like I was in the world of Wizards in Hogsmead! Here is a few pictures that I can share with you of my ventures into the magical world as a Muggle (non-magical folk)....

This is the entrance to Harry Potter Land
Can you see how some of the chimneys are crocked. It looks so cool!!!
The Hogworts Express, awaits you when you enter

We were able to get onto platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross
This is me with the conductor. (I work with his wife and she told me he was here. So it was funny to see him and tell him this. we have never met before this)

These notices from the Department of Magical Games and Sports. They are all over Hogsmead.
I went to the Hog's Head to get some Butterbeer
Here is my hand full of yummy Butterbeer!!!!!!!!
These are all the Muggles that went with me to hang out at Hogsmead.
From left to right they are Merri, Catherine, Candace, Me, Dani, and Carolyn.
Next we went to Honeyduke's to get some candy and Pumpkin Juice
Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans!
My Chocolate Frog
Me and the Weasley's car. It is not looking so good...
I next visited Hagrid's hut
Ollivander's Wand shop
My friend Candace and I waiting in line for Ollivander's
A few of the wands that they have. The 3rd one would be my birthday month one
This wand that the girl got was NOT right for her. it made a mess of these shelves!

While waiting for Ollivander's I saw this snowman all dressed up in Hogwarts gear, with snow owl and all!
The Sorting Hat (if you look closely you can see the face of the hat)
The Dragon Challenge. They had two different dragons you could ride. the red one was our favorite, so here is the picture with me and the sign.
And FINALLY the Castle!!!!! It is so awesome!!!!!!!

Young and Vivacious

So the other day at work a guest came up to our window and bought something. I was my usual "Disney" self. We had a trainee with us and as soon as the guest walked away he gave a suggestion of what we should have also said to the guest. I asked he why he did not say that when the guest was here. He relied that we were the "old-timers" and knew what we were doing. I told him that we were leaving that up to him because he was young and vivacious. He, in return, said that I was probably younger than him. I asked how old he was, and he said 20. I then asked him how old I looked. He guessed 18. I told him I was 22, needless to say he was shocked and didn't say much else on the topic. The moral of the story is that I look young and beautiful still!

EPCOT

What does EPCOT stand for? ... does anyone know? ...well if you are a cast member at Walt Disney World then it stands for Every Paycheck Comes On Thursday!!! (or the real one is Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow). I Just happen to get Thursdays off! So here are a few of the things that I have done on MY EPCOT...

Here is one of my first days off. I went to Typhoon Lagoon to get the full experience and know how it feels to go there as a guest. I went by myself so this is the only picture of me there. and it is a water park so it is difficult to get pictures there. All in all I loved this day!!!

These next photos are when my roommate Jenna and I got Thursday together! We went to Animal Kingdom.

Everest!!! It is maybe my favorite ride at Disney World!
This is after the rapid ride and you can not tell all that much but we are SOAKED! I was still soaked 2 1/2 hours later and that only changed because I got home and changed. but it was so much fun!
Jenna and I at the parade

on of my next days off I actually went to EPCOT! and of course I had to visit the World Showcase while I was at it! I took a tour of France then ate in Japan, visited China, had a history lesson in America and many more things. It was awesome!
my food from Japan
China
This is what my name looks like written in Chinese
These little boys were so cute and so good. they balanced plates on sticks and spun plates on the table. it was fun to watch

Another day off Jenna, Robin and I all had it off together. We went to Hollywood Studios.
We got learn to draw Disney characters!! It was so much fun!
Hidden Mickey
Tower Of Terror! They changed to drop sequence and it was amazing!
Rockin' Roller Coaster! in front of the guitar
waiting in line for Toystory Mania. we waited for 2 hours!

Robin is a life guard so it was funny when we say this. We had to take a picture
Jenna is Player 1 and I am Player 2!!! I did so good!

So those are a few of my days off! Lots of fun with awesome people!
