Time

I am finally in my new apartment! It is beautiful! (pictures will come soon)  My roommate Kaarina and I now live in our very own place. YIPEE!!! We are a little lacking in furniture, but we have the most important furniture, beds! Well, a lot has happened to me in the last month. (this is part of the reason I haven't posted) I finished my college internship with Disney World, got kicked out of my apartment, started working seasonal at Disney, moved to my friend's couch to live for a month, got trained by fire at being a stocker, applied to go full time, turned 23, moved into my own apartment, got in an car accident, was chauffeured around town, fixed my car, made new friends, got humbled...and I think that is about it. So, I have had an interesting month. Anyways, tonight I got to cleaning out some of my stuff and organizing it and trying to make it look good with out any furniture.(a little harder then you may think) I was looking through old letters for family and friends, journal entries and a note that I wrote to myself last year. The only feeling that I got was the one of love and how truly blessed I have been in my life! I have been through a lot, sure, but I have been blessed so much along the way that I really have no room to complain. I have not posted because I have lost the true meaning of this blog, the little treasures in my life. They are EVERYWHERE!!! The song "God Bless The Broken Road" has been popping in my head the last week so much, and it is true. This life is suppose to be about trials and how we get through them. The Lord will never leave us alone when we most need him, and he has been in my life a lot recently. I must admit that I did not notice at some points that he was there, but I testify to you today that he is there! I am so thankful for the adventures that I have had the opportunities the take. They all have not been the best, but they are mine and give me character. So, stay tuned for more from me, I hope I will get better at this.

  2. Kimmy, you sound like you have grown so much. I'm sorry you had to go though all of that, but in the end I always find that it was worth it. So I've become a total Oprah fan and she has a moto that says "it's not a failure if you choose to learn from it." Whichi think is the smarted thing I've heard in a while. Well I hope your new apartment is turning super cute! Good luck with this upcoming month and the rest of the year!
