Birthday Ring

 My sister Christina has been telling me for a few weeks now that she was designing a ring for me for my birthday and it finally arrived the other day!!! It is so pretty!!! It is my birthstone, Garnet. 

About a week before this ring came my friend found a ring in a locker she uses and she gave it to me. It is so cool and I wear it all the time!! I now combine the two together and now love them both all the more!

Thank you Christina so much! I love the ring!!! I get so many compliments. I love you!

Orange Chicken

I was craving orange chicken the other night so I got online and looked up a recipe.I finally found one and started making it.I also was lacking in a few ingredients but it turned out really good!! I added a little to much red pepper so it was a little spicy but I liked it that way....I love Orange Chicken!!!!

Bliss

Last semester I found this picture online that I wanted to put onto a shirt. I got all the stuff to do it but never got around to doing it. This weekend I was home alone and had nothing to do so I got all the stuff out and actually made it!! It looks so cool! I wore it today and I have fallen in love with it. Here I am in it...

When my roommates came home someone told me about a website that does t-shirts, so my roommate Amber and I looked at it. We were so tired, but we laughed so hard at a few of them. I have fallen in love with some of them. It is called Threadless Tees .

2D to 3D!!

I am doing my friends wedding cake in April and I am in a cake decorating class this semester so I convinced my professor to let me do a trial run of the cake for my midterm. My friend found a cake online that would work and I had to recreate it. Here is the picture from the internet and the picture of my cake.

Ok, so I know this is not the point of this blog but I am going to complain for just a minute, but there is a happy ending to this story. So my roommates have been driving me up the wall! I know I have a lot to do with it, but it just makes me sad that we are not getting along at this moment. I love them all so much!! I have had a crazy semester so far. I am majorly busy with my last semester up here and I have been secretly dreading leaving and at the same time I can't wait to get out of here! So my attitude has been a little up and down these past few weeks. It seems that Satan is working extra hard on me right now. There has been some boys in my classes that seem to be making my life ruff by there feel to make up for lost testosterone, and my roommates seem to be expecting things from me that I don't know about till they blow up at me. But with all this coming at me all at once I can feel Heavenly Fathers presence more then ever! It has made me a little extra emotional (which I do not like) but I will take it. We had two Apostles at BYUI this last week and I was able to go to both of them. It was such a pleasure to be here and hear from them! Also I went to devotional this week, which I hardly ever do, and it made so much a difference in my out look on bad days. If you think you are having a bad day just think of a dog named Chollo who was ran over, had his eye popped out, taken away from home, shot 5 times in the head and neck, and buried alive. Looking at that I think I will never have a bad day ever again! I know this church is true and I love how it has blessed my life! I just want everyone that I love to know that. I consider myself so blessed. Trails come and I like to look at it that Satan is trying extra hard to bring me down because I am being so Christ-like. I will take each one with a smile and say "I am having a great day!" Thank you for everything you have EVER done for me Heavenly Father! I will forever be in your debt.

Damsel in Distress

We got about 6 inches of snow last night/today. I was coming home from a friends house tonight and I went to park in my parking lot, but there were no spots open. I went to take the ally to get to the other parking lot when I was about half way up the ally and I got stuck. I tried to back up and I got stuck again. I got out and attempted to push myself out but it did not work out so well. I decided that I needed some help, so I call my old FHE brother, Korbin. I told him that I was stuck in the ally and needed some help. I asked him to bring some other guys to help. So a few minutes later him and my other two old FHE brothers showed up. It took us 45 mins trying to push my car out. We finally got Cory's truck to pull me out. After a few failed attempts we finally got my car out of the ally!!! It was so funny, we were laughing the whole time! These men are amazing! I love that I am here at BYUI and have lots of men that are willing to come help a damsel in distress. I have learned some much in the last few months how to admit that I need help and accept it. God is funny at times. 

Who Said You Can't Have Fun At Walmart?

On Friday Amber and I were going to watch "The Princess and the Frog" but it was coming out to the cheap theaters the next weekend so we decided to wait. We still wanted to do a "date" so we just got in my car and made things up as we went. There was a new frozen yogurt place that opened up so we went to check it out. It was cute, but it was defiantly a couple's place.

After we were done sharing our frozen yogurt we headed over to Walmart to go "window shopping" It was so much fun to walk around Walmart with no intent to buy anything. We were just being crazy! We took a few pictures with my phone. Here they are....

We went to the nail polish section and choose a color for each other and ONE finger to paint! here we are with our crazy nails! (I got some "bling" on a certain finger ;) )

Next we tried on funky sunglasses, and then acted like models with them.

Then we choose both beret and necklace for the other and sported them for the camera.

After all our fun we went home and watched Marry Poppins. I got to lay down with my feet on Amber. If was fun, I feel asleep not even half way through. It was an all together fun night!
